What type of material is the handle?
Each kennel door comes with a strong, lockable stainless steel handle. Inside the handle is a stainless steel spring that helps keep the latch closed, so your dog can’t push the door open. It’s safe and secure, but still easy to open with one hand. You can also add a padlock or clasp for extra security if needed.

You are able to secure the kennels together due to the inlaid screw holes in the top and sides of the boxes. My labs are very secure in the back of the pickup.
