Our 80lb 1 years old GS has destroyed 2 large wire crates in a matter of minutes. He panicked every time we put him in them and we could hear him scream all the way to the car. The final straw was coming home to a bloody face and another twisted crate, to solidify the decision to purchase. Our groomer recommended them and I started doing my research. My husband was dead set against spending so much money but now he doesn't say a word, seeing the difference in enjoyment with his new crate. He happily goes in, any time we need to leave and goes in any time he wants a nap, all on his own. He even gets upset when we shut the door while cleaning because he likes to just go in and relax throughout the day. He seems to feel at ease and safe in his crate. We didn't go all out and purchase the indestructible one and we are ok with that decision because we cant imagine a dog that could destroy this crate. Although its lightweight and can easily be moved around a room, it is so sturdy and well made, we no longer worry about coming home to a loose dog. It's a conversation piece for our guests and it's pleasing to the eye. Our pets are like our children and we would spend top dollar to ensure the safety of our human babies as well as our fur babies. Worth every penny. Our 17 year old son assembled, on his own. This seems to be a complaint by some but he had it ready to go in less than an hour, alone without an issue. Looks nice in our livingroom(we chose gray)
